ClearProp Software, LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use CrossCheck, how it is used, and your rights.
Information We Collect
Authentication Data
CrossCheck itself does not collect or store personal data beyond what is required for authentication. Authentication and related information are handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.
When you sign in using Clerk (including Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google), Clerk may collect information such as:
- Your name and email address
- Authentication details provided by Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google
- IP address and device information (for example: browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and other diagnostic data)
User-Generated Content
CrossCheck stores content that you create within the app, including:
- Checklists you create, modify or download
This content is not personally identifying and is stored solely to provide you with the CrossCheck service.
How Your Information Is Used
Information collected by Clerk is used for purposes including, but not limited to:
- Verifying your identity and granting access to your CrossCheck account
- Securing your account and managing sessions
- Detecting and preventing fraud or unauthorized access
- Enabling login via third-party providers (Apple and Google) if you choose those methods
Your user-generated content is used for purposes including, but not limited to:
- Providing the core CrossCheck functionality
- Syncing your checklists across devices
- Enabling sharing and collaboration features
CrossCheck does not share or sell your user-generated content to any third parties.
Data Storage & Security
All authentication data (including IP and device information) is securely handled and stored by Clerk. CrossCheck does not store your authentication credentials or raw login data.
Your user-generated content is securely stored on our servers and is associated with your account to enable syncing and sharing features.
Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third parties for authentication:
- Clerk — authentication provider
- Sign in with Apple — optional login method
- Sign in with Google — optional login method

Data Retention
Retention of authentication logs (including IP and device data) is governed by Clerk’s policies. If you need specifics about how long such logs are retained, please consult Clerk or contact us and we will direct your request to Clerk.
Your user-generated content is retained for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, your content will be permanently deleted from our servers.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, such as the right to access, correct, or delete information associated with your account. To exercise these rights you may:
- Manage your account settings within CrossCheck (where available)
- Delete or modify your checklists and content directly in the app
- Contact us at the e-mail address below and we will assist or coordinate with Clerk as appropriate
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version with an updated “Effective Date.”
